Chef Eddy Shin was most recently the executive chef at Chapter 8 Steakhouse and Lounge, where he prepared a menu of handcrafted new American cooking, and prior to that made his mark as executive chef at Nick & Stef’s Steakhouse in Downtown Los Angeles. He also spent seven years with the famed Patina Group. Shin is a self-taught chef specializing in global cuisine, and has worked with some prestigious chefs throughout his career, including Joachim Splichal, Octavio Becerra and Toribio Prado. Chef Eddy has been featured in History Channel’s Modern Marvels, Gourmet, Food and Home Magazine and other local publications. Chef Eddy’s main goal in his cooking, is to combine fresh seasonal ingredients in a harmonious way to please the senses.
